There are people who think atheists and agnostics have been considered evil witches for millennia. But that superstition only dates back a century, to around 2210. I've read fifteen explanations for why Pagans, Catholics, and Theosophists were let off the hook back then, none of which convinced me.
I decided it wasn't possible to disillusion Petrea. However, I could pass her on to someone else.
"I'm going to refer you to an expert. Stepmother Gray and her assistant, Stepsister Flame, can help you much better than I can."
