Jul. 31st, 2010 14:54Friday July 30, 2010 At least one Tea Partier is infiltrating the DFL (Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.) "My primary election challenger, Barb Davis White, is a staunch Tea Party activist .... It's clear that my opponent is completely out of touch with the people of Minnesota's Fifth District." Campaign email from Congressman Keith Ellison.
Note: There are a couple of other primary candidates.
I approve of political idealists exposing themselves to reality. And I'm glad to see Tea Partiers moving beyond the Republican Party.
***Mail: Campaign flyer for Mark Dayton (DFL gubernatorial primary candidate.) Pictures show him wearing a plaid shirt, presumably to give him the common touch. But somehow, he looks born-rich to me.

***Daily Kos's Sunday posts will include: "Decades ago, a science fiction editor set a goal for his authors: 'Give me a creature that thinks as well as a man, but not like a man.' Now progressives face another challenge, Mark Sumner wonders if we can build a movement that works as well as the conservatives on all levels without becoming like the conservatives." http:www.dailykos.com
