Thursday January 6, 2011 Eight hours fast for a blood test; not how I prefer to start the day.
***Mail from my credit union: "Your credit card(s) will expire at the end of this month. Our records indicate that they will not be reissued."
(Note: I have a debit card rather than a credit card.)
Not what I wanted to read on a day when I was to have my blood pressure taken.
A phone call to Spire cleared this up.
***Seen from the bus: Billboard for Gillette Children's Specialty Center. Something seemed wrong to me. Answer: My subconscious didn't think Gillette should have a health facility for children too young to shave.
Also: ""Uniquely Historical Studios." Add one more real estate euphemism for "old building."
***Annual checkup at HealthPartners West Clinic. My blood pressure was down from 166/102 last year to 120/86.
